Baby Bonsai Crystal Tree Workshop & Curry Night
A creative evening of gemstones, meditation, wire wrapping and delicious curry at AURUM

Join us at AURUM, Temple of Frequency, for a beautiful hands-on workshop where you will create your very own baby bonsai crystal tree using genuine gemstone chips, wire wrapping and intention-led creativity.

This workshop includes a guided meditation to help you visualise your tree, connect with it and bring your own meaning into what you create.

You do not need to be creative. You do not need to know what you’re doing. You do not need to arrive with an artistic bone in your body.

You will be fully guided from start to finish.

And because we are absolutely not making tiny spiritual trees on an empty stomach, this workshop also includes a curry.

Crafting, crystals, curry and chaos. The sacred four Cs.

What You’ll Be Making

You will create a baby bonsai crystal tree using genuine gemstone chips and wire wrapping techniques.

Each tree will be completely unique, with your chosen gemstone chips forming the leaves and branches of your bonsai. You will be guided step-by-step through shaping the wire, building the branches, adding your crystals and creating a finished piece to take home.

Your finished crystal tree can be used as a decorative piece, altar item, intention tree, desk companion, meditation focus or simply a tiny sparkly tree that makes you smile every time you look at it.

What to Expect

We will begin with a guided meditation to help you settle, visualise your tree and connect with what you would like it to represent.

Your tree may become a symbol of growth, grounding, abundance, healing, patience, new beginnings, strength, peace or whatever your soul decides to throw into the mix on the night.

You will then be fully guided through the creative process, including:

Choosing your gemstone chips
Learning simple wire wrapping techniques
Creating branches and structure
Shaping your baby bonsai tree
Adding crystal chips as leaves
Finishing your tree ready to take home

No previous experience is needed. This is a relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop.

And yes, if your tree looks slightly windswept, emotionally dramatic or like it has survived a spiritual storm, we will simply call it character.

The Curry Night

Part way through, we will stop for a break to enjoy a curry together, with rice, naan and a few sundries.

This gives everyone chance to relax, chat, admire each other’s tiny gemstone tree progress and have a proper cosy evening inside AURUM!

Who is This For?

This workshop is perfect for beginners, crystal lovers, mindful crafters, spiritual home décor lovers and anyone who fancies doing something a bit different.

You do not need to be creative, arty or experienced with wire wrapping. Everything is explained and fully guided.

You just need to come along, have a go and let your baby bonsai become whatever little crystal creature it wants to be.

This workshop uses wire, small gemstone chips and craft tools, so care will be taken throughout and guidance will be given.
