This October, take part in an afternoon of witchy crafting, laughter, and autumnal magic as you create your very own mini besom! (1:2 scale) No, no not bosom…BESOM!  A witch’s broom that’s all your own — without needing any magic (well… maybe just a little)! Whether you’re a seasoned broom-maker or trying it for the first time, you’ll leave with a unique, handcrafted witches’ broom infused with your personal intentions, ready to sweep away the old and invite the new. Broomstick flying is optional, but mischievous spirit is highly encouraged! Everyone is welcome!

GUIDED MEDITATION:  Gather & Soar

We begin with a guided 4d meditation, to settle your mind and sweep away mental clutter.  I do have roll mats for the floor, but please bring cushions, extra matting, blankets… any items to make you feel comfortable. You could even go for an inflatable bed or anti gravity chair/recliner! In the deep meditation, you’ll experience sounds, smells, cleansing, vibration and feel yourself flying through the air!

BESOM CRAFTING: TWIST, BIND, AND DECORATE

The heart of the workshop is the hands-on crafting session. Head to one of the tables and take a seat! Wrap your hands around a warm cup of hot apple toddy! (No alcohol I’m afraid!) You’ll have a selection of crafting items in front of you and you can choose all your adornments from the main tool table!  Using wooden handles, bundles of twigs, pine, heather, herbs, twine, ribbons, and optional charms, feathers, or crystals, you will bind, shape, and personalise your broom. Add a touch of Halloween flair — mini pumpkins, black ribbons, glittery spider webs, dried oranges — and watch your creation come alive. Every twist and tie carries intention, helping you sweep away what no longer serves you and invite fresh energy for the season.

SPOOKY MENU

The atmosphere is cosy, playful, and lightly mystical, giving you a chance to connect with the season and your fellow crafters. It’s only fair the menu reflects this!

A hearty cauldron stew bubbling with the flavors of the season. Tender root vegetables, potatoes, and parsnips are slowly simmered with warming herbs and a touch of spice, creating a comforting, rustic dish that nourishes both body and soul. Perfect fuel for an afternoon of broom-making and magical creativity. Served with a slice of rustic pumpkin bread! 🥖 And for afters?! A haunted, dark chocolate velvety mousse! Dietary requirements can be catered for!

THE GRAND BROOM FLY

At the end of the workshop, don the witch hat, grab your besom, and prepare for a magical flight. Strike a pose for a photo-op against a spooky backdrop, capturing the joy, creativity, and playful Halloween magic of the day. It’s the perfect finale to celebrate your craftsmanship and the enchantment of autumn. There will be no charge for the photographs.
